Boulder County Requires Masks in Indoor Public Settings
09/08/2021Boulder County Public Health issued a public health order requiring facial coverings to be worn in public indoor spaces throughout Boulder County, Colorado, during periods of substantial or high transmission of COVID-19.

12/15/2020Governor Polis issued Executive Order D 2020 235, which goes into effect November 20, 2020. This order places a number of counties on Red Tier and personal services are limited to 25 percent capacity.

06/15/2020On June 15, 2020, Governor Jared Polis released Safer at Home: New Guidelines (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1U0vrv7GEOp_vGGkxlDqjJCJdRVmQxx8d/view), which, among other allowed activities, expands permitted personal care services. Facials, shaves, beard trimming, and lip waxing services are allowed effective June 18, 2020. Clients may remove their face coverings for these services.

Colorado Draft Legislation Stakeholder Meeting
01/27/2020The Department of Higher Education and Division of Private Occupational Schools (DPOS) have drafted a bill that would authorize the Department to collect student cost and employment outcome information from higher education institutions not currently included in the Department's annual return on investment report.
The bill draft was finalized January 27. They are having a stakeholder meeting on January 29, 2020. This is an opportunity for stakeholders to comment prior to the bill being filed. There will be opportunity to testify in hearings once it is filed.
